7. Circumstances

Water drains down her body, the droplets washes away. She feels see is standing on a tough surface.
“Is this a dream?” Gauri opens her eyes. She sees herself lying on the floor and Vivek Sir’s wheelchair besides her.

She turns her head and notices ‘TOOFAANI’ written on the wall. Gauri recognized it was same hospital elevator. She tries to wipe the letters of the word, but she didn’t made any change. She was there to only see.

The elevator door suddenly opened rays of light stream inside. Gauri bended down and tried to feel the hair of her older self. She swept dry tears. She was helpless, she couldn’t help even though she knew what bad was about to happen to her.
Suddenly older Gauri woke up. She dragged her outside and took a check on sir, exact same way how Gauri had before.
Gauri realized she can’t change anything. For a moment she thought she will stop her, but she can’t.

Gauri was about to get out of the elevator, she saw Vivek waking up. He looked at the older Gauri who was walking towards the dancing ambulance and then instantly pressed Top floor button. Gauri was still standing inside the elevator as the doors closed and she bade good bye to her old self who was about lose her hairs too. She wept and cursed “Fuck you PhalZ, and those bloody zombies”
But more than hairs, the real shellshock was sir. He stood up and folded the wheelchair away. As the elevator was moving up, Vivek was exercising his arms and legs as if warming for a game.
Gauri was stunned to this. ‘He was in ICU right, unconscious? ? WTF, was he faking it all the time. NO SHIT.. NO SHIT.. I risked my life, lost my hairs, got naked and beaten by disgusting women and was about to become a meal for tribe for this.’
Gauri banged her gentle hands on the wall, “Answer Me Man!!!.. Tell Me, Why did you do this??? Why Me…”
Vivek was still warming up his muscles, tapping his legs, cracking the finger bone.
“Fucking Speak You Son-of-a-Bitch… Speak UP!!!” Gauri tried to slap Vivek. But her hands passed through him and he was still smiling.

The elevators stopped, doors opened. A Chopper was already waiting for Vivek Sir. A woman in white tight short skirts and formal top came to scout Vivek towards the chopper. Gauri also started following then side by side.
“We are Off the schedules Sir” the woman spoke.
“Yes, I know,” Sir nodded, “Any information on Bill?”
“He is still at his residence, seems like he is waiting for something.” The woman replied.
“So did he send someone to kill me?” Vivek asked
“I think you were right about Bill. Last night a car came and stood at front of house. They ran after the apocalypse intensified this the morning.” Woman replied.
“Dumb Assshank.” Vivek cursed “I saw this betrayed bitch on his face when first time we met for the deal. He used me, fucked. It’s time to repay him back.” He stepped into the helicopter. “Let’s get back to the camp, and see if you get any signals from Ajay’s phone. I don’t want anything bad happen to him.”
“Ok sir, but what about this girl who helped you in this plan. Shouldn’t we take her with us?” the woman asked.
“Look Daisy, if a lion starts caring for all the animals in the forest, he would have to starve to death. Understand?”
“Yes, Sir” Daisy nodded.

Gauri kept staring as she was unable to believe what was happening, how she got here, why, where she really is, Who is Bill? Why is he dangerous? ‘Come on!!’ Gauri stomped towards helicopter but it got away.
She was not satisfied with this half information. She ran towards elevator. But she started feeling wetness on her body, the droplets returned. It was hard for her to run, she was only inches away from the door, a strong wind came and washed away.

Gaurav stopped on the roof of Nicole’s Bar. He had been jumping roofs and terraces whole night away from Bill’s demolished enterprise. After reaching the bar and reading the name on sign board, Gaurav remembered that was the same bar where the entire apocalypse began for him. The beautiful girl’s zombie face about to kiss him death flash by his eyes, he shook with the memory.

“Hey... alright?”  T asked adjusting herself on a cushioned chair.
“Yeh… How are you?” Gaurav asked back.
Princess T looked at the wounds on her thighs and stomach. She felt the pain but didn’t bring in on her face. She said, “I think we need to disinfect the wound, can we find some antiseptic or alcohol or something?”
Gaurav thought for a while, then looked at his own bare body. His entire wounds are gone. There was not a single scratch on him. He went to a nearby window, picked a piece of glass and came back to T.
“He what are you doing?” T was confused.
“Just lay still.” Gaurav replied.

Gaurav cut his wrist and let the blood drop over the T’s wound on the thigh.
She felt like burning. She screamed.
“Are you gone insane… What are you doing… Ahhh… It burns..”
Her cut absorbed the blood. There was hissing sound all over it. The blood vanished and so did the wound it. The cut was healed instantly. Princess felt no pain. She woke up and took a look at it. The wound was clearly all gone. She jumped and hugged Gaurav in joy,

“Thank you so much again, for everything you have done for me. Thank you very much.”
“I should Thank you, in fact if you and your army would not have barged in. I wouldn’t have got any chance to get out. By the way, who are you and what were you doing there?”

“My name is Geetika, I’m a special agent from USA. I and my SWAT inmates were in mission to kill Bill.”
Gaurav saw a badge on her chest, “Princess T?”
“Yeah, that’s my code name.” she replied.
“Can you tell me what exactly has happened? CoZ I know nothing about these shit that was spread through our city.” Gaurav demanded.
“It’s everything due to Bill Richards. He is the reason behind this.”
“The man I fought a death match moments ago?” he asked.
“Correct.”
“Please tell how it began.”  Gaurav requested
“Sure”

Swapna punched the password on the door; Mr. D was watching her back holding a rifle. As the doors opened, an armed man was already standing behind the doors, he knew who they were and why they came here.
“This way” the man ordered.
It was 3am in the black morning; even stars were hiding behind the dark clouds. The man took Swapna and Mr. D to a big garage type room little away from the main house. They stopped before the shutter gate of the garage.
Please handover all your weapons.
“Why...” Mr. D buzzed
“It’s our security measures. We have to follow Boss’s rules.
“Let it be D, I trust the man. Give him the gun.” Swapna looked it into D’s shades which he was even wearing the dark morning. He was very habitual of wearing as it had become his fashion statement.
Guard took D’s rifle, “And you Madam?”
“Oh no… I don’t even know how to hold those stuffs.” Swapna grinned softly.
“Sir, you will wait outside. Only the Girl will go inside.”
Mr. D wanted to protest, but there was no option for denial.
Guard knocked the shutter, it lifted little from below, Swapna rolled inside through the gap and the shutter was lowered again.
Mr. D kept staring at the armed man giving him an intense look.

It was 6am in the morning at Bombay talkies. Kai Ankito was making bread sandwiches for her. Rai-Bro was still in sleep on bed besides Ananya. The slutty bitch kept him awake whole night. This professional hacker was busy decrypting Ananya’s thirst of lust whole night. He slept late in morning. It was Kai’s strict rule everyone should be awake by 6am.

There was banging on his door.
“Hey Rai… U still sleeping… busy with the bitch?? Hun??” was Ankito’s loud thudding voice from the other side.
Rai grabbed his undergarments, pants and shirts and started to wear it hastily.  It tripped over a wine bottle and fell .
“Rai… What’s going on??” Ankito shouted again.
“Just a rat… I’m coming… Sorry” Rai bumbled from inside.

Rai-Bro and Ankito went on the west balcony of the theatre where they always had breakfast. Rai-Bro took the bite of Sandwich, Ankito sipped Coffee.

“Where is Chiburam? I sent him yesterday to Richard’s enterprise… He isn’t back still.” Rai inquired
“We that lazy sloth. He seriously must be sleeping somewhere.”
They laughed.

“Don’t worry I will send some of my men that way through the sewer.” Said Ankito

Rai-Bro picked his coffee cup smiled uneasily at her and turned around. Suddenly Ankito startled and pushed Rai down.
“Watch Out!” she shouted
a big stoned just passed Rai-bro’s head and went through the door.
“WTF was that???” Rai cursed.

Ankito stood up upholstering the gun aim at a zombie-man behind the wall of Theatre compound. The man came running towards the wall carnivorously. Instantly we mounted up the wall but then got electro executed but the wire fence above it which was carrying over 500kw of current.

“Seriously, was a zombie who threw stone?” Rai asked, he was shaken by seeing intensity with which the stone was thrown.

“They are getting smarter with time, but dumbness is never lost.” Ankito said staring the zombie body being grilled over the fence, “If they are one there could me many...” she said and took out her walkie-talkie, “D’Vingo… Alpha... Alpha… There is a swarm approaching, be on alert. Lock all the Window and Glass points. There could be rain of stones or other similar stuffs.”
“SHIT!” exclaimed Rai-Bro
“What know??” shouted Kai furiously
“They are not getting smarter, these scrums are evolving.”

Swapna walked slowly in the bright white lit room. A man was sitting on a recliner facing the wall. Garage room was very long. Swapna stopped 1 meter before the chair. The man stood still facing the wall,

“At last, here you are. Asshole’s stupid Assistant.” He cursed spitting the clean floor.
“I told you already, I’m sorry. I didn’t know he was planning to betray. It’s not my fault.” Swapna begged.
“You came to me with the deal...” he paused “You Bitch, You did. Then it was your responsibility to see that the deal goes right, not mine.”
“Then how the Hell is was given the wrong antidote!!!” Vivek sir screamed and turned around. “You knew that Bill was betraying me, you knew. Don’t lie… Don’t lie to me Bitch!! Vivek kicked the recliner chair with great force. It collided with wall and broke off.

Swapna was terrified, “Yes I knew, but it was too late. Virus carriers were already distributed. I called you in evening when I got know about this, but there was no answer. My men came to your house. But saw no one.”

Vivek busted “That was due to your fake anti-dote you delivered to me instead of the real. That caused me a stroke. Good gods! I had my chemical experts who got me out of that heart attack”
“I’m sorry!! But maybe we can fix this thing together. I can help you to Bill down.” Swapna offered.

Vivek laughed, “There is no V between U and I!”
“What… no… I can surely help.” She begged.
Vivek took out his gun and pointed at Swapna, “Sorry, Betrayers ought to pay, and the cost is death.”  Vivek loaded the gun.
Sweat drop emerged from Swapna’s forehead, ran through the cheek got accumulated at the chin, formed at drop on fell on her jet leather shoes. She got the fearless confidence on her face.

“How long are we walking in this Shit Canal?” Sonali complained
“It’s been like 5hours” replied Bishwa.
“WTF… 5 hours… How far was theatre from your residence Mr. Bishwa?” Sonali asked.
“Just few minutes walking distance.” Said Bishwa.
“Don’t tell me we are circling around same place.” Barged Nehhal.
“Freak!!” Bishwa exclaimed.
Sonali slapped Chiburam from behind.
“Are we on right track?”
“I think I forgot the direction.” Cried Chibya.
“Hell No... Hell No... Hell No…” anguished Nehhal started walking her and there.
“I’m feeling suffocating, I can’t walk anymore” fretted Sonali.
“Only few more minutes Madam, than we might reach.” Chibya appealed.
“I think we should trust him for some time.” Bishwa demanded.
“If you are so enthusiast to support in this walk to nowhere, All the best to you and him. I’m getting out of her now.
“Madam, are you out of your mind. This is very risky.” Chibya warned.
Sonali neglected, she turned to Nehhal “ Are you coming with me??”
Nehhal paused and thought then he went to Chiburam.
“Sir… Thanks for saving our life, from here we would like to separate our ways. Please take care of Minister Sahab. I hope for your safety.”

“We too...” Bishwa smiled.
Sonali was waiting with half disgusted- half crooked face. But then she smiled at Chibya for Thankful Goodbye, though she was angry on him for making them lose the way.

Nehhal and Sonali turned left while Bishwa and Chibya walked straight ahead

Mr. D was gazing at the transparent wall of research building where men and women dressed in white coats were working persistently.
“Are they working on the cure?” D asked to armed man.
Man stood still with a poker face.
Suddenly D heard a gun being fired from inside.
Armed man crouched a step back and aimed his AK-47 at Mr. D. That move was very for Mix Martial Art specialist Mr. D. He kicked the gun off the man’s hand and swung a jab right on this eye’s sweet spot. Man was down with open punch. He saw men coming towards him. Immediately he lifted the garage door and saw Swapna pressing her belly. He ran towards her, the bullet just passed her skin without piercing inside. He saw Vivek on the floor resting his back on the recliner. He was bleeding from his hand. The gun was down and there was short blade knife besides it.
Swapna smiled at D, “That’s I always wear these shoes.”
Swapna tapped her right leg to show D another blade at the tip of her shoe.
“Come on, let’s get out of here.” D replied helping Swapna by shoulder
“How far can you go in this devastated city.”  Spoke Vivek.
Mr. D and Swapna neither turned back nor replied and left the garage.
Vivek shouted shaking blood of his injured hand, “Your every drop will pay for your sins… argh…..”

Nehhal saw an open gap on the walls of sewer. Sunlight was gapping out of it. The marks on the wall appeared like someone was there before. Nehhal looked at Sonali and it was a hell yes! From her into the gap.
Gap leads them to another gravel tunnel that had a big opening over it. There were dynamite shells everywhere with broken cement.
Sonali climbed on Nehhal’s shoulder and peeped over the hole.
“What do you see…? Are there any zombies?”
“Nope… NO sign of them... There are only dead bodies of few solders… it think American SWATs and few local guards.”
“Are you sure… that’s American SWAT”
“Yes I’m … I’m not that dumb.”  Grinned Sonali uninterestedly.
Nehhal pushed Sonali out of the hole, she crawled herself out on the broken cemented floor and then dragged Nehhal out too.

Nehhal sauntered around the arena. Many dead bodies were there on the floor. Ten to fifteen SWATSmen and few local body guards. The walls were severely damaged too, not only with bullets but also with some heavy objects it seemed. The blood over the wall raised high.
Sonali heard sound of some sort of device. She called Nehhal and asked him to search. In a corner he found a big box with beeping sound coming out of it. He pressed OK button.

“Army Base to Princess T… Army Base to Princess T… Over… Over… Can you hear us ?”
“I’m Nehhal, from CBI India. I just got here somehow saving my life. I see all your men dead. Are you SWAT America?”
“OH WHAT!!!... Yes we are SWAT. Are you all men are dead, did you find any woman’s body?”
“No Sir!” Nehhal replied.
“Mission Unsuccessful. We are aborting Kill Bill.”
“Hheyy.. heyy.. no no.. we need your help… please save… please send my message to Indian Government.  This infection is danger for country and for whole world.”
“Yes, We know that… Hence we are starting Operation FireWorks. Sorry Sir, we can’t help you anymore and thanks for your support.”

The call was disconnected.
Nehhal punched the wall with anger, but it only hurt himself.
Sonali turned Nehhal, “Don’t waste your anger here… We got a city to save and an old friend to find.”
Away from transmitter there was huge pile of guns and ammunitions kept that was brought by the SWAT.
Sonali smiled, Nehhal picked up a gun and said, “I don’t know who this Bill is, But I’m getting a feeling this is due to him only.”
“Yeah, Chibya was talking about him, I don’t remember much, but he said this virus was spread by him only.”
“This is his building only, it’s written there on the boards, Bill Richards. We have to kill him!” said Nehhal.
Sonali also picked up a gun and roared, “Basterd has to pay for his disaster.”

“Hey Kai, look what I have found over internet. American government has published an article on this virus that has been spread in our country.” Said Rai-bro surfing on his personal computer. Ankito took out her reading glasses and read the article. It said,

30^th June 2015, DC

We are sorry to announce that OZ virus from our research facility has been stolen by a very trusted worker from our own people.

Our group of biologists were working on new vaccine of Rabies virus when they by mistakenly manufactured a deadly virus. After knowing the risk behind information of this virus we seal packed it into our safest locker destroying all the evidences behind it. Virus was great threat to humanity.

Unfortunately the virus has been stolen from our facility. We have red alert on all the airports. Virus cannot go out of America we can assure that. We suspect Dr. Swapna Sharma behind this theft, she was the lead scientist on this research project and she is still missing with the virus.

“So this disease is transported from America.” Kai concluded taking off her glasses.
“95% of diseases in the world are manufactured in America.” Rai completed.
“And we Indians are just the carriers of it.” Kai said disgustedly.

Rai bro was about to get of the computer table, alert messaged flash on the screen.
“What’s wrong?” Ankito asked.
“Something’s wrong in power system.” Replied Rai-Bro.

Tub lights started to blink… then dim.. Then again dim.. Then finally it went off.

Rai-bro’s pc was backed up by UPS, and emergency orange lights got one. All the windows were closed for safety, so even morning 7.00 am felt like 12 midnight.

“WTF is this!!” Ankito exclaimed.
A guard came running.
“They have crossed the wall!!” he breathed heavily, “They are coming...”
“What!!… How???” shouted Kai.
“They destroyed our security fence by overloading the current flow.” replied the Guard.
“No!” Rai bro cried.

Ananya came out her room. She still was wearing her night gown.
“OMGzz... So suffocating in here… let me get some fresh air” she walked to the balcony.
“Oh... Wait you stupid girl… Don’t go there.” Kai tried to stop her.
She disregarded Kai’s words, “Stupid bitch can’t take my freedom to breath.” She opened the balcony doors. Rai-bro ran towards her.

“Come fresh air, Kiss Me…” she spread her hands towards the sky.

Immediately a zombie jumped on her from outside right over her chest biting her lips out of the face. The blood fell down from that man’s face like water drops from a dogs face. Man humped on her chest and tore off her clothes.
Rai-bro was saddened… shocked… broke… fallen apart seeing his One-Night-Love getting into pieces. He screamed. When the dead man heard him, he looked at him with his filthy eyes.

Rai-bro stood frozen. He was too afraid to make a move. Dead man ran unto Rai-bro, Kai dashed Rai down and hurled her automatic bullets into dead man’s head.
“Run into the Screen no. 4” Kai ordered Rai-bro, she turned to her Guard, “What are looking at… close the Goddamm door… slut ruined us… glad she is dead.”

Bro heard this, anger launched into his head. He turned back and exploded on Kai catching her collars. While Ankito’s guard went to close the door.
“No more words against her, please she is dead... please” Bro cried in heartbroken pain.
“I’m sorry…” apologized Kai.

 Guard had just closed the door and hand came in from outside through the last gap.
“Fuck” he exclaimed, “Someone shoot this hand.” He cried freaking out holding both the doors tightly.
“Run fast…” Ankito repeated to Rai bro. He wiped his tears and ran to Screen no. 4.

Ankito loaded her and walked to the door.

A loyal guard came to her and stopped her and said, “Please wait Madam let me handle this.”

Ankito stopped got back and picked up more guns.
The loyal guards slowly walked to the door and shoot the hand. It broke off and fell down.

The guard holding the handles immediately closed the door and locked it.
He sighed and turned to the loyal guard. He was still shaking in pain, but then too his smiled.

Suddenly the door broke it latches and fell on the smiling guard. He got smashed by the door. Hundreds of zombies rushed inside the room like swarm of bees from the hive.

Few stopped to drink the blood from smiling, few jumped on the loyal guard who was also near the door.
5 more guards came with power-packed guns and shielded Ankito.
They requested Ankito to leave. Kai wasn’t ready to go. But then understood her importance and ran into the screen no.4 with her bunch of guns.

She entered the main theater hall in front of the movie screen and closed the door from inside.

There was pitch black inside theatre hall. Only one ray came from the projector room that illuminated the centre screen making it look more horrific.

“Rai-bro… Are you there…” Kai’s voice echoed in every corner of the theatre. “Rai… Rai… Rai!!!!”

All she heard was her men dying outside with rounds of guns fired one by one, zombies taking the blows but not ending.

Mr. D stopped his car on the other side of Khar salt lake, far away from Vivek’s reach.
“Why did we stop here…?” asked Swapna controlling her pain.

“CoZ I don’t know where to go now… We are fucked up!” replied Mr. D in frustrated tone.

“So let’s get out of the city.” Suggested Swapna.
“Don’t you remember, all the roadways are barricaded by Army? We have quarantined this city. Now the city is having his revenge.” Mr. D answered.

“I’m feeling week, I will get some water.” Swapna left the car.

She went by shore and threw some water on her face. Then she washed her wound. The pain of this cut was nothing compared to her regret. If she hadn’t met Bill, if she hadn’t agreed to his plans, this never would have happened. She slapped her face again and again.

Moon came out of the dark clouds and enlightened the Khar salt lake. Swapna was following the beautiful light with her eyes, she saw something more brilliantly shinning in the water.

Something was floating; it was coming towards the shore. Stream was carrying it. First it appeared like a metal rod, but when it came it near she saw it was a golden arm. More nearer it came, more clearer she saw.
“D… Come here… there is a body in river, it has a golden arm and she looks alive…. Come fast…” Swapna shouted.

Tussinder stitched Vivek Sir’s hands and band-aided it.
Sir’s assistant came into the room,

“Excuse me sir, we have found Ajay!”
Sir’s pain instantly got converted into happiness, “Start the arrangements, he must have got really sick now due to infection on the broken arm.” Vivek stood, “He is no less than my son and his gonna get it back!”
